Devices and setup

Neither Samsung's Tizen nor LG's webOS ships an IPTV player, so you install a third-party app from the TV's store and enter your Xtream credentials. If your TV predates 2018, a Fire TV Stick 4K or an Android TV box gives a far smoother experience than the set's own processor.

Bandwidth

Budget 25 Mbit/s per 4K stream, or about 15 Mbit/s with HEVC. Swiss fibre plans clear that comfortably on all three networks, so throughput is rarely the limiting factor — when playback stutters the cause is almost always local: Wi-Fi, the operator's router, or the player device. Where it stands legally

Watching for private use is not prohibited in Switzerland — Article 19 of the Swiss Copyright Act permits private use of a published work. What the law targets is retransmission of protected content by a provider that does not hold the rights: the provider, not the viewer.
